Urban Boundary = High Prices

Even Premier Rann understands the connection between land release and home affordability:

1-1"The continued release of land within the urban growth boundary will help maintain downward pressure on the price of land, and therefore housing affordability." more

If releasing land within the urban boundary will reduce land prices, then releasing land without the boundary will certainly have the same effect.

Obviously they feel house prices are acceptable, otherwise they would have  released extra land already.

Our objective is to have the South Australian State Government remove the Urban Boundary they impose, which artificially has been restricting land availability.

This shortage of land has driven land (and hence homes) so high it has made buying a home - the great Australian dream - unaffordable, particularly for the poor and the young in our society.

With your support we can reduce the price of owning a home for the next generation.

Adelaide ranked 11th least affordable city out of 272 cities around the world

Imagine you are in a race with 272 people from the USA, UK, NZ, Australia and Canada.  If you come 262nd then you are Adelaide and the race is housing affordability.  Don't worry, I'm sure you will feel much happier knowing Melbourne and Sydney did worse.

PS Your medal is "Severely Unaffordable" and your "Multiple Median" score is 7.4 (worse than last year)
